How Busy Are Drop days?  How Do I Make Sure I Don't Miss Out On A Specific Item

Some helpful tips:

  • Create an account; This makes checkout much quicker!
  • There is not a cart hold, so items can disappear from your cart if someone checks out faster than you
  • Most items are very limited, so only limited quantities available.
  • Make sure you have selected the correct size/item and shipping method. Orders can not be changed once they are placed. If you made a mistake you need changed, your order will be cancelled and you can re-order the correct size/colour/style. We simply are not able to accommodate all the changes. Please review your order very carefully before checking out.

How Does Your Shipping Work?

Local Pick-Up is now available (West Kelowna, BC).  If you are not local to the Okangan Valley and actually picking up, please do not select this option.

Our processing time (order placed-> Order Shipped) is approx 3-4 business days, depending on order volume. If you need an order for a specific event, etc, please select a tracked shipping option, such as Expedited or Express Shipping, depending on your needs  and send us an email. We will do our best to get it out the door as soon as possible. We are a family-run business, so life happens (alot!) around here, but we are happy to help if we are able

Standard $6.00 (letter mail) shipping  is available on orders up to $100CAD and is NOT tracked or insured, so there is no insurance for replacement if your order does not arrive to you and we are not able to track your package. Economy Lettermail can take as little at 2 days or as many as 2-3weeks (longer in peak season) to arrive. Within 1 week is typical, but no guarantees or tracking.  This is economy shipping and items will likely be vacuum-sealed or in a ziplock bag to reduce bulk. If sent lettermail, most orders with multiple items may ship in separate packages (which means they may not arrive on the same day). If you prefer your items in one package, please select a “tracked” option at checkout.   If you would like your insurance to cover your entire order (if over $100) please email us and we can invoice the small fee so your entire order is covered, and you can have peace of mind. International orders do not include tracking or insurance. If you would like to add this, please ask for a quote prior to placing your order. Nest and Nurture is not responsible for any customs or duty charges.

If an order does not arrive, it is not the responsibility of Nest and Nurture to replace the order. We recommend choosing tracked and insured shipping (ensuring your insurance value reflects your order total). If your package is lost/damaged, you will be able to start a claim with Canada Post to be reimbursed.

Can I Combine Shipping?

We are able to combine multiple orders placed on the same day. There must be "tracked shipping" selected. Please email us at hello@nestandnurture.ca with your order numbers and we will adjust/refund any differences based on package weight.

Where Is The Clothing Made?

All of our items are made in small batches by talented in-home seamstresses and tailors in the Okanagan Valley and lower mainland, Canada. This is our way of supporting our local economy.

What Is Your Return/Exchange Policy?

We offer complimentary repairs to workmanship defects. Please email us if you have any concerns at all at hello@nestandnurture.ca

Returns will be considered on an individual basis. Please contact us via email at hello@nestandnurture.ca with your concern and we will be happy to help.
Return shipping cost is customer's responsibility. Tracked and insured shipping is highly recommended, as lost packages are not the responsibility of Nest and Nurture. Returns must be within 30 days of purchase and item must be in new condition with original tag attached, free of odour and stains. Once return is inspected, shop credit will be issued for garment purchase price less shipping.

Exchanges are always welcome within 30 days if the items are in new condition with tags. Buyer pays shipping both ways. Often items sell out quickly, so an  exchange may be for a similar item of your choosing with equal value or shop credit. Please email us to discuss. Once exchange item is returned and inspected, we will issue a shop credit for amount paid for item excluding shipping.

Please make sure to measure your child to ensure the item will fit correctly. Handmade sizing can vary from store-bought clothing. It is worth checking to save the heartbreak of an item not fitting. All custom orders are final sale.

What Are Your Items Made From?

We are lovers of new, vintage, modern, and reclaimed fabrics. We like it all!
If you have a particular interest or requirement, please ask!

Vintage Fabrics: Most of our soft vintage prints are from vintage sheets. Exact fibre content is unknown, but majority are cotton. Most vintage fabrics require gentle care, we always recommend hand wash or machine wash gentle. Lighter colours are often somewhat sheer, due to the age/wear of the fabric. Some of these fabrics are 40-60years old so minor imperfections, such as pilling or slubs, are standard and expected. Vintage fabrics often have vintage smells, including perfumed linen chests. We hot wash all vintage linens with vinegar prior to sewing to reduce this as much as possible. Many of these vintage and reclaimed fabrics are airy and sheer. Simply beautiful!

100% Cotton: Most of our items are made from premium 100% cotton. This type of cotton becomes softer and softer with every single wash, while still maintaining structure and body. Lighter colours, such as Coconut, may be slightly sheer.

100% Linen - Unless otherwise mentioned, Our linens are unwashed, meaning it will be slightly stiff upon arrival. It will soften up and start to drape beautifully with every single wash and wear.

How Do I Care For My Nest & Nurture Pieces...

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Machine Wash cold (laundry bag recommended, especially for items with ties/straps)
  • Hang dry or dry flat (hand smoothing any wrinkles)
  • Machine drying is NOT recommended and will likely cause shrinking on most natural fibers.
  • Press with a low temperature iron if necessary.

I Wanted To Buy An Item, But The Size I Wanted Is Sold Out.  Can I Purchase It Anyways?

Most of our items are made in small batches, meaning we only have a limited amount of fabric. You can always ask, but typically once an item is gone, it is gone forever. It is recommended to keep up to date with us via VIP Newsletter (sign up on website) or follow us on Instagram and Facebook.
